Social Services/Community Engagement

The Social Service Department leads community programs and nurture partnerships in West Philadelphia along the 60th Street Business Corridor, positioning Masjid Mujahideen as a trusted ally. We work closely with the Progressive CDC and engagement initiatives drive positive change. From pastoral care to end-of-life support, we oversee social services including marriage services and Janazah’s. As community liaisons, we connect with groups, leaders, and policymakers. Additionally, we bolster food programs and clothing drives, fostering a stronger, more resilient community together with the help from committed committee members.
